Method MMA x ADCC ASIA-OCEANIA TRIALS CHAMPION, XU HUAIQING SEMINAR

Xu Huaiqing is making a significant impact both on and off the mat. Recently securing his place in the finals of the ADCC grappling championship, set to take place in the USA in August 2024.

For the first time, Xu stepped into the role of a teacher, leading seminars at Method MMA in Shanghai, where he is also a coach. Over two days, Xu shared his extensive knowledge and skills with participants, engaging all grapplers with useful insights and details in each session.

The seminar kicked off at Pudong gym, focusing on wrestling techniques specific to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and guard passing. The second day, held at  Jing’an gym, delved into wrestling up and chest-to-chest guard passing.

Participants not only received excellent coaching but also had the chance to grapple with the champion himself. This hands-on experience allowed them to witness the amazing skills that earned him the title of the first Chinese ADCC Trials Champion.

As he prepares for the ADCC finals in the USA, Xu plans to continue sharing his knowledge by leading more seminars across China.
